. ~~Coffee production in Bolivia is concentrated in the rural areas of the Yungas, where approximately 95% cultivation occurs. Bolivian coffee is just starting to make a name for itself in the world of Specialty coffees. Once considered a producer of low-quality coffee, only suitable for blended roasts, Bolivia is working to change its image one bean at a time. For this heavily impoverished country, it is a matter of creating the infrastructure, technology, and skills needed to produce a quality product that supports economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Initiatives such as Fair Trade and organic, along with economic development projects have provided opportunity and support to coffee producers on the local, national, and international level.

East Timor

~~A full bodied medium-dark roast with chocolate notes and a clean finish. Ideal as a french press or drip coffee.

East Timor, also known as Timor-Leste, is a small country in South East Asia, located about 640 km northwest of Darwin, Australia. It comprises the eastern half of the island of Timor, the enclave of Oecussi-Ambeno in the northwestern part of the island, and Atauro and Jaco islands. Coffee has been grown in East Timor since colonial times under the Portuguese. By 1865 coffee accounted for over 50% of the value of exports from the colony. Under Indonesian rule, Timorese coffee growers were forced to sell their produce through a company owned by the military at lower than standard world prices. Indonesian militias destroyed much of East Timor's coffee industry after the 1999 referendum, but it is quickly rebuilding with international assistance

Ethiopia

~~From the home of the coffee bean. Comes a bright and flavorful light roast. Excellent brewed ad a french press or drip coffee.

Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee: it is in the forests of the Kaffa region that Coffea Arabica grew wild. Coffee is "Bun" or "Buna" in Ethiopia, so Coffee Bean is quite possibly a poor anglicized interpretation of "Kaffa Bun". We consider Ethiopian coffees to be some of the best in the world, and extreme genetic diversity of the coffee shrub is certainly part of the reason why. Most of the coffee is either wet-processed - resulting in a vividly bright cup, with fruit and floral notes - or dry-processed with the fruit skin intact.  The latter technique produces a very  different, rustic fruited flavor profile, and with thicker body

Flores Bajawa

~~Sweetly crisp, unusual and striking flavor and aroma. Quiet but lively acidity; silky mouthfeel. Flores comes from an island in Indonesia, part of a chain of islands that extends east of Java and Bali.
